This book was totally awesome. How can you not love shifters and Dragon shifters at that. This is Arulean and Rajiah story. Arulean is the Dragon King his mate is Lyphnia the Dragon Queen. Lyphnia is Rajiah sister and he is an unwed omega coming to the castle to deliver his Great Mother Ashes. Their are lots of Alphas coming after Rajiah but he wants Arulean. But he loves the thrill of the chase but he's not willing to be caught by just anyone. Lyphnia feeling that something is going on warn her brother to stay away. Rajiah is stubborn and hard to control and does not listen even after she tries to get him with other suiters. Enter Aruleans brother who just wants him to be happy. He does everything in power to get these together. Arulean tries to fight his feelings knowing he never fully claim him because he wants what little control he has on Lyphnia to stay that way. Does Arulean get his happiness or does he fight it.??? With a very tempting omega coming for him who has the help of Aruleans brother this is sure to be one happy ride. Noah Harris, thank you for book 4 in this great series. The insight into your characters origin was absolutely fantastic. Awesome read.
New York author Noah Harris is a 28-year-old bisexual man currently single and living in a small apartment in New York City. Though somewhat shy he is a humanitarian who sees the world in which we live as a community bonded in a natural approach to our feelings and ourselves and our interaction with others. His bisexual nature allows him to create well rounded characters – most all of his novels are M/M romances but they are much more than the usual erotica we encounter in film, television, and social media. Noah explores the boundaries of types and wields a strong brush as he paints his fascinating people. Where Noah succeeds in this book is making the paranormal shifter concept work so well that that shift seems completely credible. That takes talent and Noah has it!
For those who have yet to read Book1 SAILING DEEP, the following catch-up may increase the pleasure Book 2. ‘Dylan’s mission assist his Navy SEAL team as they infiltrate enemy territory and gather Intel on the new shifter pack called the Shadow Pack through distant observation. Blake’s mission infiltrate and live within the Shadow Pack and gather any useful information and data from the inside as one of them. One is a SEAL, and the other is a spy. Their missions were never supposed to cross, yet one fateful accident during a full moon intertwines their fates. Dylan finds himself in the middle of the Shadow Pack and under the charade that he’s Blake’s mate. They must learn to live and work together, or risk exposing both of their covers, and Dylan’s team. Noah has successfully combined all his special gifts to enhance this breakspeed finale. A very satisfying addition to the series, making us hope that the series will continue. Grady Harp, May 17
I feel very strongly about cheating and to cheat on her with her own brother and in her own home. Regardless of her attitude, that was her brother and her mate. It is like the messy classless mistress wins . I got one more book in this series and I am NEVER reading another book by this author. Because she wasn't a nice person it made what they did ok. This was an awful read for me.
The Dragons had me worried about forevermore with them getting together. The Excerpt at the end of this book was very interesting and want more story. Please do a full book it has me excited about an interesting romance.
WoW... What a really great series! Dragons.... oh heck yes! The is one of the best series of books that I have read in awhile and I sure hope that Mr. Harris will continue this series, there is so much depth and hard drawn reality that this reader was totally involved through out these books. This is the backstory to Arulean and Raijah story from the Sailing deep trilogy. Arulean the most powerful dragon shifter leader and omega Raijah Bronze. Arulean dismayed about his relationship with his mate Lyphnia( Raijah) big sister. Their love and relationship has grown apart as time and war has destroyed their mateship. Enters Raijah answering the dragon call and bringing their mother's ashes to the Elders resting place. They meet and Arulean's heart is renew and awaken wanting Raijah. A beautiful love story starting to blossom and be told.
Finally! The much wanted story of Arulean Black and Rajiah Bronze!!! We fell in love with the dragons in the Navy Seal series and now we know how it all started! The love and passion Arulean once had for his mate, Lyphnia has long since died as her greed for power increased. Arulean, the Dragon King, a shadow of his former strength, weighed down by guilt and sadness. It takes a strong, determined, fearless omega to remind Arulean that he is the only one with the strength to control the Dragon Queen and protect all shifters. “If we don’t look after those weaker than us, then what good are we?”
Noah did an amazing job of painting a story that is so detailed, you can visualize it as it unfolds. The emotional depth he brought to this story truly demonstrates his continued growth and maturity as a writer. As one of my all time favorite series I am so happy that he shared this wonderful story of Arulean and Rajiah and how they formed the Shadow Pack.
