Having arrived only yesterday, this book has entered my 3 year old daughters 'favourite book list' at Number 1. What grabbed her interest from first read was the colourful artwork on the cover, and on each page. She was also interested in the choice of animals that were used as a representative of each letter.Having read it a few times now, her interest has expanded to include the written letters. The page layout really helps with this; each letter is displayed as a capital letter and lowercase letter on one page, while on the adjacent page is a colourful picture and a catchy rhyme. Finally, the book is a pleasure to read aloud; it rhymes along merrily from start to finish.
This book is a very welcome addition to our bookshelves.
